Visit of Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos Episcopa
On Monday, March 4th, our Diocesan Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos Episcopa graced with his inaugural visit since assuming the role of President of the Atlanta Carmel Mar Thoma Center. Tirumeni and Rev. George Abraham, Diocesan Secretary, welcomed by Rev. Skariah Varghese, Vice Chairman- Atlanta Carmel Centre, Rev. Saju C. Samuel, Vicar Atlanta Mar Thoma Church, Rev. Abraham Sudeep Oommen, Program Co-ordinator-Carmel Center, Mr Shyno Thomas, Operations Manager-Carmel Mar Thoma Center and Mrs Blessy Philip.
Tirumeni explored the beautiful campus, enjoying the spring scenery and learning about the centre's development. He also appreciated the myriad potentials and possibilities nestled within it. While visiting the Center's Office, Tirumeni shared his Vision and learned about the day-to-day operations.
Tirumeni extended his visit embrace to the senior citizens of Atlanta Mar Thoma Church, reminiscing fondly about bygone days during his tenure as an achen in the United States. His genuine affection and heartfelt interactions left an indelible mark on the hearts of those present, reaffirming the bonds of fellowship and kinship that unite us all.
Undeterred by the constraints of time, Tirumeni embarked on a noble mission to visit the homes of the sick and differently challenged individuals, spreading rays of hope and solace in every corner he touched. His benevolent presence served as a beacon of light, illuminating the path of healing and compassion for those in need.
Tirumeni also presided over the Core Committee Meeting and discussed the future plans and strategies for developing the centre, which would be beneficial to the whole community, especially the children and youth.
